The Women Cellat SRMS College of Engineering, Technology & Research (CETR), Bareilly successfully organized a Counselling Session for the mental well-being, self-awareness, and confidence-building of girl students. The session aimed to create a safe and supportive space where female students could openly discuss their academic, emotional, and personal concerns.

The session began with welcome address by Dr Manvi Mishra , Head of CSE Department, CETR who introduced the objectives of the session and highlighted the significance of creating an open environment where students feel empowered and heard. Emphasizing upon the significance of communication, Ruchie Sah , Assistant Professor, Basic Science Department, CETR urged students to share their problems with parents, mentors & peers. She also inspired the girl students to seek support when needed, reminding them that sharing their concerns can lead to encouragement and solutions from those who care about them.

Adding a legal perspective, Asna Naaz , Assistant Professor, SRMS College of Law educated students about various laws that safeguard women’s rights. She also sensitised attendees about their legal rights and the protections available under the Indian Constitution, aiming to boost their confidence and in stil awareness regarding personal safety. The session concluded with heartfelt appreciation from the Women Cell to all the speakers and attendees for their active participation.
