The Department of Hotel Management at SRMS College of Engineering, Technology & Research (CETR), Bareilly recently organized an Uttarayan Kite Crafting extravaganza, wherein first & second-year students of B Tech, Nursing, Law & Bachelor of Hotel Management & Catering Technology (BHMCT) enthusiastically participated. They showcased their creative abilities and artistic expression through vibrant and beautifully designed kites.
During the competition, participants demonstrated exceptional artistic skills through their unique designs. This activity not only encouraged artistic talent, but also promoted teamwork, creativity & healthy competition among participants, fostering confidence and holistic development.
Towards the end of the competition, Dr Shailesh Saxena , Dean Academics, CETR felicitated the winners with certificates & trophies in the presence of Er Subhash Mehra, Trust Advisor & other dignitaries. After rounds of deliberation, Sonali & Darshani from Nursing (first-year) clinched first prize. The competition was meticulously judged by Dr Manvi Mishra, Head & Imana Azram, Assistant Professor from CS Department, along with Sapna Thakur, Assistant Professor, BHMCT, who evaluated entries based on creativity, presentation & artistic merit.
The event was efficiently coordinated by dedicated team comprising Dev Rastogi, Adarsh Gupta, Prakhar Gupta, Chetan, Ishita Shukla & Devansh, ensuring smooth execution of the event.
