On World Health Day, SRMS Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS), Bareilly took a meaningful step by organizing a hands-on training programme for staff nurses, focused on medication safety, prevention of errors, and strengthening pharmacovigilance practices.
The session equipped nurses with practical skills to detect and document Adverse Drug Reactions (ADRs), while also sharpening their clinical judgment and patient communication, ensuring more precise and compassionate care.
The programme was inaugurated by Shri Dev Murti (Chairman, SRMS Trust); Aditya Murti (Director Administration); Dr MS Butola (Principal, IMS), and Dr RP Singh (Medical Superintendent), and was led by an expert team including Prof Dr Meenakshi Jindal (HOD), Dr Parthajyoti Neog (Assistant Prof), Dr Sally Rajkumari, from Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics, Prof Dr Sanjay Kumar (Assistant Prof, Department of General Medicine), Prof Dr Jasbir Singh (HOD, Department of Forensic Medicine).
More than just a training, it was a commitment to safer practices, stronger nurses, and better patient outcomes!
