700+ OPD CONSULTATIONS: SRMS INSTITUTE of MEDICAL SCIENCES’ MENTAL HEALTH CAMP CONCLUDES WITH A STRONG MESSAGE ‘YOUR MENTAL HEALTH MATTERS’!

Making mental well-being a priority, the Department of Psychiatry, SRMS Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS), Bareilly, successfully concluded its Mental Health Camp held from October 5–10, 2026, in the run-up to World Mental Health Day today (October 10).
The camp witnessed 700+ OPD consultations, with people experiencing a range of mental health concerns coming forward to seek professional guidance, understand their challenges and learn practical tips for better mental well-being. To encourage timely care, the camp also offered 50% off on CT Scan (Head), 50% off on Psychotherapy and 20% off on all other tests, making essential services more accessible. However, the initiative reinforced a vital message: it’s okay to ask for help, and seeking support is a sign of strength. Because caring for your mind is just as important as caring for your body.
