Ambulance Service
SRMSIMS provides round the clock ambulance
services to critically ill patients. The ambulances
are fully equipped with gadgets for cardiac
monitoring, invasive and non-invasive BP
monitoring and ventilator support. An ICU trained
Doctor, nurse and healthcare assistant accompany
the patient during the transit period.
Dietary Services
SRMSIMS has state of the art dietary services
providing delicious food to all admitted patients as
per doctor’s recommendation. The dieticians of
SRMSIMS prepare individual diet plan for each
patient after detail nutrition assessment. All raw
items and grains are grown in own fields.
Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD)
The hospital has central sterilization department to cater to the needs of wards, OPD, casualty and others. Central Gas plant Hospital has a central gas
plant which supplies oxygen, nitrous oxide and air through central pipe line to all wards, OT, ICU,
NICU, PICU and Emergency.

Animal House
To obtain authentic results of the research experiments and test, it is important to have
standardized animal with known health and genetic
status. The Animal House of the Institute provides
optimum environment for experimental animals to be
used for research under the care of a Veterinary
Doctor.
Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Centre
The Department is equipped with all ultramodern
physiotherapy equipments. It offers the deep
heating modalities like laser therapy, short wave
diathermy and ultrasonic therapy to the patients.
Besides providing rehabilitation of orthopedics
cases and sports injuries, the centre has started
rehabilitation of neurological cases also.
Pharmacy
Institute’s pharmacy caters to both outdoor & indoor patients
having a wide range of quality medicines and consumables.
In addition it has Free Pharmacy shops for both OPD and
indoor patients.Software based indenting through
personalised login brings transparency in system and
prevents misappropriation
Operation Theatre Complex
The hospital has a central 13 OT complex for all surgical branches, one emergency OT and one recently started
Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery OT. The OT’s are well
equipped with operating microscopes, modern OT lights, C-ARM, Laparoscope, Endourology equipment and Endoscopes.
The extensive armamentarium of instruments enables the
doctors to operate simplest to most complicated surgeries.
Blood Transfusion Services
Institute has blood bank facility running round the clock to
provide blood to the needful patients. Component facility for
Packed Red Blood Cells (PRBC), Fresh Frozen Plasma
(FFP) and Platelets is also available.Institute is among one
of the few institute providing plasma therapy for COVID-19
patients.
Covid Hospital
During covid in all the waves SRMS was the main pillar supporting the community in managing the cases of covid. Hospital was converted into L3
hospital by the government where all the beds were
utilized for the management of covid positive and
suspect cases. All mild, moderate and severe cases
were admitted during both the waves.
Covid Control Room
Covid control room was setup where daily all the
activities related to management of covid 19 was
done. Daily meetings (two times a day) were done
with all the covid teams and consultants for
discussion of cases and its management. SRMS
developed their indigenous software where data of
all the covid patients was uploaded every 6 hours
which was sent to the district authorities. In this
software all the details like vitals, lab investigations
and various parameters were uploaded and could
be even seen on mobile of the covid consultants so that they had round the clock update of the patients.
This helped in better patient satisfaction and their
relatives were satisfied that the patient is alright and
reducing their panic among family members.
A glass chamber was specially made in the control room where daily all the consultants use to physically counsel the relatives about the status of the patient. We developed a dedicated helpline no. which was available 24×7.

SRMS Technique For Covid Management
In this pandemic the worst part was that no one could can be near their patient and they
have to be outside and keep total faith on doctor and system that everything is going alright. With this concept we use to send small video clips of the patient to attendants so that they can have an update about their
patient. This system was appreciated by the
authorities and even replicated by WHO
specialist in Kanpur where they names it as
SRMS technique. Hospital improvised itself
with each and every step which helped in
maintaining patient satisfaction.
Social Services
SRMS gave free food supplies in form of cooked food and dry ration to adjoining areas
and even to nearby districts which helped
community to cope up from the pressure of
covid 19 pandemic. Free medical camps
were organized for population not only in
Bareilly but adjoining districts also where free
checkups, Covid testing and basic medicines
were provided.
