FROM ONE FOUNDER’S VISION TO 24 YEARS OF HEALING: SRMS TRUST CELEBRATES A LEGACY THAT CONTINUES TO INSPIRE
What began as a vision to make quality healthcare accessible has today become one of the region’s most trusted institutions. As SRMS Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS), Bareilly celebrated its 24th Anniversary, also marking the birthday of Shri Dev Murti, Chairman, SRMS Trust, and the Founder’s Day of SRMS Trust, the campus witnessed a day filled with gratitude & service.
The celebrations began with floral tribute to Late Shri Ram Murti Ji, followed by a Hawan led by Shri Dev Murti (Chairman, SRMS Trust), Aditya Murti (Director Administration), Asha Murti (Trustee), Richa Murti (Director, Goodlife Hospital), Devisha Murti, Er Subhash Mehra (Trust Advisor) along with Heads, faculty, and staff from all SRMS Institutions.
Reaffirming SRMS’ commitment to community service, a Blood Donation Camp was organized by the Department of Transfusion Medicine. The day also honoured Class-IV employees of SRMS IMS & IAHS through an inspiring interaction, followed by sweets distribution and a warm birthday cake-cutting ceremony for Shri Dev Murti.
The Founder’s Day celebration held at SRMS Engineering Campus reflected on the remarkable journey of the Trust, with Shri Dev Murti, Aditya Murti, Dr M.S. Butola (Principal, IMS), and Dr Prabhakar Gupta (Principal, CET) highlighting SRMS’ growing national impact. A moving video montage capturing what SRMS means to the people who live its story every day became one of the most memorable moments of the event.
The celebrations concluded with felicitation of outstanding departments, students, and staff across Trust Institutions, followed by heartfelt vote of thanks by Devisha Murti. Adding another milestone, the 4-day ‘युवा स्वास्थ्य मेला‘ concluded recording 5,000+ registrations with people benefitting from health screenings & wellness services.
