With an aim to raise awareness about AIDS, Shri Ram Murti Smarak (SRMS) College of Nursing, Bareilly recently commemorated ‘WORLD AIDS DAY’ with a fine showcase of an informative street play.
Conducted by GNM 1st year students in front of the main OPD of Shri Ram Murti Smarak (SRMS) Hospital, Bareilly, it was indeed an impactful street play, wherein talented performers spread awareness with powerful slogans and acts, highlighting the importance of understanding, compassion & knowledge in the fight against AIDS. The awareness event was hosted by B Sc Nursing 3rd year students—Devendra Gangwar, Shivani Chauhan & Prabhjot Kaur under the able guidance of Harshita Harbola, Assistant Professor and Heena Praveen, Nursing Tutor, and concluded with a vote of thanks expressed by Anukriti Solanki, a GNM 1st year student.
The event culminated with a promise to end the stigma attached to AIDS and working towards an AIDS-free world!
