Commemorating 23 Glorious Years of Excellence, SHRI RAM MURTI SMARAK INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES (SRMSIMS), Bareilly celebrated its 23RD FOUNDATION DAY (July 4) with great gusto that also resonates with Birthday of Shri Dev Murti, Chairman SRMS Trust, who celebrated his big day cutting the cake with members of SRMS family.
This significant occasion kicked-off with ‘phool-arpan’ ceremony of Late Shri Ram Murti ji, followed by auspicious & spiritual ‘Hawan’. Tree plantation also took place in the campus, led by Shri Dev Murti to promote a greener environment.
The Foundation Day extravaganza continued at IMS Auditorium, where, Air Marshal Dr MS Butola, Principal SRMSIMS delivered institutions’ detailed report, revealing the installation of 4 Health ATMs & its benefits, along with various charitable schemes at SRMS Hospital.
Soon after, Aditya Murti, Director Administration, believing in giving ‘freedom of expression’ to everyone, concluded glorious journey of 22 years with achievements & milestones, collectively lived through the development of all SRMS Institutions. In his dynamic address, he resonated medical students as Brand Ambassadors & urged everyone to maintain consistency, contributing to institution’s growth. Shri Dev Murti, addressing the huge gathering, encouraged doctors & budding medicos to prioritize research & commended the efforts of doctors, medical, nursing & paramedical staff. He encouraged students to grab scholarship opportunities to the optimum. Later, a heartfelt Vote of Thanks was delivered by Dr (Col) RP Singh, Medical Superintendent.
As an intrinsic part of 23rd Foundation Day, promotions & certificate of appreciations were given to several departments of IMS for their outstanding contributions. However, the day-long extravaganza was attended by esteemed dignitaries, HODs, faculties, staff & students of SRMS Institutions.
