“Big data is a broad term for work with data sets so large or complex that traditional data processing applications are inadequate and distributed databases are needed. Challenges include sensor design, capture, data curation, search, sharing, storage, transfer, analysis, fusion, visualization, and information privacy”. This idea motivated the college management to organize the workshop on Big Data, its associated streams and security.The workshop was conducted by Appin Technology Lab, Haldwani. Our Principal, Prof (Dr.) A K Srivastava inaugurated the workshop and motivated the students for the workshop.
