In his inaugural speech, Dr.S. K Upadhyaya urged the participants to make use of the workshop to the maximum extent possible in order to enhance their communication skills – both oral and written and explore contemporary opportunities for their career development.

The program started with an introduction of SRMS Trust by Mr. S.K Suman. This created a ground of familiarity and interaction with the participants. Trust Colleges, achievements and the various initiatives taken by the trust towards creating knowledge and enhancement of society were told to the participants.

The first session by Mr. S.K Suman was focused about the need of choosing the right career by the students. Self-exploration is one way to do the same. In the same context, significance of matching career with personality and interest was also highlighted during the discussion. They were also briefed about how to remain stress free and relaxed under pressing conditions specifically in student life, i.e., very beginning of the career.

During the second session of the workshop Ms. Priyanka Khandelwal made a presentation on Effective Communication and told students that effective communication is the building block for any individual to be successful in his or her career and life. Without effective communication techniques, breakdowns occur. The speaker demonstrated how communication can either create action or create powerlessness and also taught participants winning communication skills that will improve their relations in their personal and professional life.

At the end of the workshop the participants were given a chance to express their views regarding how the program helped them improve their communication skills and made them aware about the conventional and new opportunities available to them for moving ahead in their career. The participants found the workshop beneficial. The participants were also allowed to ask any related query. The queries asked by them were satisfactorily answered. The event was then taken forward by a video enlightening the partakers about the Life of students at SRMS.

In Valedictory session, the Principal in his address congratulated both the participants and the resource persons for organizing the workshop successfully and requested the participants to constantly improve upon their skills and competencies for their personal and professional growth. The session concluded with a vote of thanks Dr.S. K Upadhyaya, Principal with an interest to uphold a continued association with Campus Outreach Programme initiative of SRMS Trust.
