The Training Development & Placement (TDP) Cell at Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering & Technology (SRMS CET), Bareilly recently organized a two-day Workshop on ‘Network Management with Ethical Hacking & Android Application Development’, which was delivered by Resource Person, Er Santu Purkait, Director, Netcamp Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Kolkata (West Bengal).
The enriching workshop saw active participation of 3rd year students of B Tech (CS/IT) from SRMS CET & SRMS CETR. The workshop proved to be a great platform for students to gain valuable insights and practical experience in the field of cyber security & mobile application development.
During the informative workshop,Santu Purkait explained major technical concepts including the working of internet & router, IP Subnetting, DNS, Proxy Server, Phishing, Detection of Trojan Horse, MySQL Injection etc. Most importantly, students were given a hands-on exposure to the use of Firebase in Android Application Development, which further enhanced their understanding of real-world applications, as well as fostered a deeper understanding among them of Network Management, Ethical Hacking principles, as well as Android Application Development Techniques.
