A Faculty Development Program (FDP) on ‘Real World Interfacing With 8051 Microcontroller’ was conducted by NITTTR, Chandigarh through Web Based Virtual Session from 26 to 30 September 2016. In this program, various experts from NITTTR and Scientists from CSIO Chandigarh conducted sessions and introduced real world interfacing with a microcontroller.
The FDP was divided into various sessions. On day 1 and 2, Dr. Ritula Thakur (Prof. NITTTR) and Dr. Baban Kumar (Senior Scientist, CSIO) conducted their sessions on Architecture of 8051, Embedded C using Keil Software and real word interfacing respectively. In the next three days, Ms. Shakshi Rana Director, Strobotix Chandigarh, and expert from Scientech Technologies conducted their sessions on Circuit Simulation using Proteous Software and hands-on experience on 8085 kit respectively.
