In Visit:
There was two and a half hour exhaustive and mesmerizing presentation on the topic “Circuit Breaker and LV & MV Switchgear” given by Mr. Rahul, (L&T employee). Switchgear is the combination of electrical switches, fuses or circuit breakers used to control, protect and isolate electrical equipment. Switchgear is used both to de-energize equipment to allow work to be done and to clear faults downstream. After that there was a laboratory demonstration for about half an hour.
