National Conference was organized by the joined venture of Department of CS/IT , SRMSWCET in association with Department of MCA, SRMSCET ON 22nd November,2014. The conference commenced with garlanding of Maa Saraswati followed by Lightening of Lamp and Saraswati Vandana.
The Inaugural Session started with talk issued by our eminent guests Dr. Prem Chand, Former Additional Director, Ministry of Defence(Navy) & Founder Director, PRAKARM. He also focussed on the need of Cyber Labs.
Shri Aditya Muri, Honourable Trust Secretary, blessed the event to be successful.
The Technical Sessions were chaired by Prof. ( Dr.) D.P Vidyarthi from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi who threw light on challenges and issues of mobile computing. Another was chaired by Prof.(Dr.) S.S Bedi from MJP Rohilkhand University, Bareilly who emphasised that how important is the issue of information security in today’s life.
There were also some invited talks, one of them was by Dr. Mayank Agarwal from Gurukul Kangri Vishwavidhalya , Haridwar who raised his voice on an important upcoming technology “Cloud Computingâ€. Another was by Mr. Manish Pandey, IT Consultant, Cert –IN, New Delhi who highlighted how this very need of the hour is being taken care of in the concerned organizations.
There were participants from various colleges in and around the region. There were presentations on researches being taken care of on multiple issues and areas relevant to the theme.
The Valedictory Session had the speech of Mr Manoj Sharma, Principal Scientist, National Informatics Centre, Bareilly.
The conference aroused interest on various paradigms and highlighted the growing advancements. The event was a grand success and proved to create a yet another turning point in the history of SRMSWCET.
