ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT: CHANDRAYAAN 3’S PAYAL AGARWAL ENLIGHTENS SHRI RAM MURTI SMARAK ENGINEERING & RESEARCH STUDENTS ON CONTROL ACTUATION SYSTEM!

The Training, Development & Placement Cell at Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering & Technology (SRMS CET), Bareilly recently organized an interactive Alumni Lecture on ‘Control Actuation System’ that was targeted for B Tech III & IV-year students of SRMS CET & SRMS CETR college. The lecture was given by Special Guest & Keynote Speaker, Payal Agarwal who is one of our B Tech (CSE) Alumnus of Batch 1996-2000 (Silver Medal), and an accomplished Scientist at Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, ISRO, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, who recently contributed in the successful landing of Chandrayaan 3.

The session began with welcoming of Payal Agarwal by Dr Prabhakar Gupta, Dean Academics & Dr Anuj Kumar Director TDP Cell in the presence of several other dignitaries & students. During the knowledge-driven lecture, Payal Agarwal shared her views on Control Actuation System and explained the meaning of the term stating that it’s a guidance system for unmanned flying objects. She also shed light on the various methods used to control actuators, and described the types of actuators. Later, she also answered various queries of the students, who were keen to listen to her and learn from her. Towards the end, Dr Anuj Kumar expressed his gratitude to Payal and wished for similar cooperation in future.
