The program was comprised of two sessions. One on “Career exploration” and other on “How to face Interview” which was taken by Mr. Sumit Saxena and Mr. Anubhav Saxena respectively.
This time prime focus was not only on career exploration but also on understanding the need of career exploration, getting into the dynamics of job market and making it realized to students as well.
Session was started by Mr. Sumit Saxena – Faculty SRMS CETR, Basic Science Department who talks about the objective of session and then takes the students through entire different journey of their career planning.
Also brief about SRMS Trust and its achievements were presented talking about important milestone Trust has achieved right from getting into the list of top 10 institutions to the establishment of advanced cancer research centre in Bareilly. Faculty SRMS CET Mr. Anubhav Saxena also explains the skills required while facing interview for jobs. He spoke on the importance of soft skills and how it can give competitive edge to students in their career.
The programme was conducted in a way that it was more than a lecture or any kind of monologue communication. It turned into a discussion forum where students actively participate and raise their queries and come up with interesting solutions also.
Mr. Sumit Saxena guides the new avenue in which students can move further after doing their B.Sc in conventional domains like aviation, marine science, nanotechnology, astronomy, nautical science, hospitality, journalism, mass communication, acquaculture, horticulture, medical tourism, event management, food technology, Industrial microbiology , biotechnology , biochemistry, pathological sciences, nutrition and health management.
The session came to its end by motivational words of great personality Late Shri. A.P.J Abdul Kalam “Man needs his difficulties because they are necessary to enjoy success”.
