To start the program Dr. Ankita Tandon introduced the SRMS Trust to the participants to create a ground of familiarity and interaction with them. Colleges, achievements and the various initiatives taken by the trust towards creating knowledge and enhancement of society were told to the participants.

The next session by Ms. Shruti Gupta & Dr. Ankita Tandon focused upon the need of effective communication in all dimensions of life. Various learning and participatory exercise on the basics of communication viz. Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening were conducted. These exercises helped the participants analyze their own communication skills and the ways to improve them.

On 4th Oct, 2016 the session was then taken forward by Mr. S.K.Suman, guiding the participants towards facing interviews successfully. The idea was to help the participants know the preparations that need to be done before, during and after the interview. Emphasis was on the behavioral aspects of facing the interviews. A special reference to facing Viva-Voce was also taken into the discussion, as requested by the faculty of the institute.

The session ended successfully with the recording of feedbacks from participants. The response reflected the curiosity of participants for awareness regarding use of English in communication and challenges in facing interviews. The suggestions were to increase the time limit and frequency of such sessions.

The session ended with a vote of thanks from Dr Nageshwar Prasad with an interest to maintain a continued relationship with Campus Outreach Programme initiative of SRMS Trust.
