REPORT ON INDUSTRIAL VISIT TO HAL, LUCKNOW

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited has blossomed into a major player in the global aviation arena, and today is among the elite Navratna companies. We are thankful to Mr. Rajnish Kumar Agnihotri, Chief Manager, HAL to grant us permission for the visit. At HAL, Mr. A.K. Sharma, Chief Engineer started the session with the details of their various units located around the country. Furthermore, he discussed a lot about HAL Accessories Division where they manufacture systems and accessories for various aircrafts and engines. Later on, we visited the section where satellite launching vehicles are manufactured. Also, he discussed the involvement of aerospace, equipment research & design centre in the designing and development of hydraulic pumps, wheels & brakes, etc. Within this, we finished the allotted slot of 3hours and we moved back the college premises.
