The Training, Development & Placement Cell at Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering & Technology (SRMS CET), Bareilly recently hosted an insightful ALUMNI SESSIONon ‘Dialogue with Alumni,’delivered by Special Guest, a B Tech CSE Alumnus, Batch 2000, VIVEK SINGH, Vice President of Fidelity Investments.
Tailored especially for B Tech 3rdYear (CS/IT) & MBA students from SRMS CET & CETR, the session aimed to facilitate networking, career guidance & industry insights for current students through alumni engagement.
The event provided a platform to students to engage in enriching discussions, encompassing a diverse range of topics like CV Preparation & Internships, Hackathons, Placements, Entrepreneurship & Deliberation of Job v/s Higher Studies, wherein students explored intricacies of professional development. During the exclusive session, Er Vivek Singh shared his journey, detailing his transition from SRMS to USA & imparted invaluable lessons learned from failures, accentuating the significance of resilience & continuous self-improvement. He shed light on the qualities sought by recruiters in prospective candidates, offering students a comprehensive understanding of industry expectations.
