All India Talent Scholarship

Since its inception in 1990, the various Scholarship Schemes of SRMS Trust are the way of pursuing Shri Ram Murti Ji’s ideals of creating leaders with a passion to excel. To add Glory to India on the front of Research & Development, the SRMS Trust intents to motivate all brilliant students to pursue their career in research in their respective fields by providing scholarships amounting to Rs. 50.00 Lac under the scheme – All India Talent Scholarship, was announced on 02.10.2015 in the Silver Jubilee Year of the SRMS Trust by Shri Dev Murti Ji, Founder & Managing Trustee.

ELIGIBILITY OF THE APPLICANT

All India Talent Scholarship Scheme of SRMS Trust will be given during period of Research (as a regular full time scholar in a university institute of repute) to cover part of expenditure incurred in the Research work on the below given disciplines. The Trust will earmarked a separate budget of Rs. 50.00 lacs to disburse the scholarships in an Academic year:

The candidates enrolled in research work in the aforesaid fields are eligible for this scheme. The scholarship amount will vary depending on the Discipline & the research activities under taken by the researchers.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Eligible scholars enrolled in various Universities Research Institutes of repute are required to fill in the application from appended alongside and submit through the Vice Chancellor / Director / Dean of the respective Universities / Research Institutes to “The Managing Trustee, SRMS Trust, N-3, Rampur Garden, Bareilly- 243001 (U.P.)” through / Speed / Registered Post.

SELECTION PROCEDURE

The Scholarships entail the following process:

• There will be a written online competitive test consisting of 3 parts for each discipline. Part-1 will consist of quantitative & reasoning questions, whereas Part-2 will consist of General Knowledge & General English & Part-3 will consist of discipline specific questions. The Question paper will be of 3 hours.
• The main emphasis will be on the discipline under which the candidate is pursuing research.
• All the applicants will be evaluated on the basis of the performance in the test, his/her overall achievements spanning academic and co-curricular excellence.
• Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a final interview with the screening panel which will consist of luminaries, Researchers, academicians and the Managing Trustee of SRMS Trust.
• The shortlisted candidates must carry all supporting documents such as copies of certificates, mark sheets, etc.
• The interview will be held in Bareilly / Lucknow for which the shortlisted candidates will be provided accommodation & fooding.

DISBURSEMENT/CONTINUATION OF SCHOLARSHIP

• The performance of the Scholars will be monitored closely by the Trust for the renewal of the Scholarship every year & disbursement of scholarship will be six monthly on the recommendations of the Guide counter signed by the VICE Chancellor/ Director/ Dean in the prescribed format.
• The disbursement of the scholarship will be through NEFT/RTGS directly in the account of the scholar at every six month. This may take at least one month time to evaluate the progress of research work & remit the scholarship amount in the account ofthe scholar.

RENEWAL OF SCHOLARSHIP

The recipients of All India Talent Scholarship of SRMS Trust will be assessed on qualitative and quantitative parameters to judge his/her excellence on the Research & Development front. This assessment will help determine the continuation of the disbursement of the Scholarship amount and having honour of continuing as “SRMS Trust Scholar”.

The Assessment will be done every six month till as per the below given the completion of research work maximum up to 3 years from the date of enrolment:

1. Participation in minimum of two National/International Conference/Seminars/Symposium etc.
2. Research Publications in reputed indexed journals.
3. The six monthly progress report submitted by the scholar duly endorsed by the Guide & counter signed by the V.C. / Director/ Dean.
