Master of Pharmacy

Goal of the Programme

The Master of Pharmacy increased industrialization in Utter Pradesh, Uttarakhand and adjoining states has increased the demand for qualified and trained personnel across the nation. In view of this, our goal of the Master of Pharmacy Programme is to contribute and fulfill the national need of specialized trained pharmaceutical man-power through prescribed teaching and training programme. This postgraduate pharmacy program will educate, train, and instill in students the responsibility to take on research and development roles not only in the country but also globally.

Pharmaceutics

The programme provides the professionals with sufficient knowledge and skills to understand the concept and design of various pharmaceutical dosage forms. The professional also having ability to develop and evaluate various novel drug delivery systems to fulfill the changing disease and patient’s need. The trained post graduates are very well prepared with knowledge of modern analytical techniques for research in formulation development.

Research Facilities

Air conditioned research laboratory equiped with equipments like : FT‐IR, HPLC (High performance liquid chromatography), UV visible spectrophotometer (double beam), UV visible spectrophotometer (single beam), Brook Field Viscometer, Brook Field Rheometer, Cold centrifuge, Ultra sonicator, High Speed Vacuum homogenizer and Environmental Chamber, Automatic Multistation Tablet, Compression Machine, Six Station Dissolution Rete Text Apparatus c etc.


Admissions are as per the following :

100% seats of all branches are allotted as per State Government/AICTE /PCI directives through Dr. A.P.J.Abdul Kalam Technical University counseling.

Vacant seats and left over seats in all branches are allocated on the basis of merit of GPAT/FATE along with personal interview.

Eligibility

Candidate must have B.Pharm degree with minimum of 60% marks from an institutions approved by Pharmacy Council of India.

The candidate must have qualified GPAT/ Dr. A.P.J.Abdul Kalam Technical University PG Admission Test (FATE)

A candidate with a valid GPAT scorecard is exempt from the entrance test conducted by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow.

Stipend for GPAT : Rs 12,400/- per month.

Fee Structure

Fee structure is available on college website, Fee is to be paid by Demand Draft drawn in favour of “SRMSCET” payable at Bareilly.

Stipend:-

· The Trust provides a stipend of ₹6000/- per month to Non – GATE / GPAT qualified M.Tech. /M. Pharm. students in 1 st year and ₹ 7000/- per month in 2nd year (10 month per year only).

· GATE / GPAT qualified M.Tech./M. Pharm. students will get a stipend of ₹12,400/- per month from AICTE along with Trust stipend of ₹3000/- per month in 1st year and ₹3500/- per month in 2nd Year (10 month per year only).
