- Total time allotted for each presentation is 8 minutes (6 minutes for presentation + 2 minutes for discussion/Q&A).
- Total number of slides should not exceed 25 only for a successful and meaningful presentation.
- Slides should be with black back ground with while fonts (Times New Roman / Bookman Old Style) and Max 10 – 12 lines per slide and font size 20 / 22.
The sequence of slide should be as –
- first slide presenter information,
- followed by introduction,
- aims & objectives,
- materials & methods,
- results,
- images,
- discussion and
- conclusion
The basic rules for the poster are as follows :
- The poster should be in print format.
- The poster title and all authors at the top of the poster
- A brief introduction, aims and objectives, materials & methods, discussion, conclusions, and references; presented in a logical and clear sequence
- Explanations for each graph, picture, and table
- Size, fonts, and color
- The maximum poster size is 90 cm (W) x 120 cm (H)
- Use easily read type. Suggested minimum font sizes:
- Title: 36 point type
- List of authors: 25 point type
- Body copy should be double-spaced text: 15 point type
- Choose your colors to provide strong contrast and avoid
- pairing red and green elements to assist those with red-green color blindness
- Print a high-resolution copy of your poster to present onsite (size 90 cm (W) x 120 cm (H)
