The Department of Radio-diagnosis at SRMS Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS), Bareilly organized an insightful ‘SRMS Advanced Imaging & Interventional Radiology Conference (AIIRC) 2024’ on APRIL 27-28, 2024, under the aegis of IRIA, Bareilly that featured Scientific Sessions, Quiz, PG Paper Presentation & Poster Display.
The 2-day conference began with scientific & interactive sessions on MSK Imaging, Onco Imaging, Interventional Radiology, Gynecological & Obstetrics Imaging, and Cardiac Imaging with special sessions on latest ICONO Cath lab & Ultrasound Derived Fat Fraction (UDFF). Added attractions of conference were Quiz, PG paper and poster presentations, leaving participants intellectually stimulated, showcasing the latest research & advancements in the field.
The insightful sessions were delivered by Organizing Chairperson Prof & Head, Department of Radio-diagnosis,Dr Sameer Rajeev Verma; Organizing Secretary, Professor Dr Neeraj Prajapati; Co-organizing Secretary & Associate Professor, Dr Namrata Singh, along with course faculty namely Prof & Head, Dr Gaurav Raj & Prof Dr Shamrendra Narayan from RML IMS, Lucknow; Prof Dr Arjit Agarwal, TMU, Moradabad; Prof Dr Nikhil Bansal, Interventional Radiology, MGMCH, Jaipur; and Dr Rohit Agarwal, Associate Director, Interventional Radiology, Medanta Hospital, Lucknow .
In the beginning, Shri Dev Murti, Chairman SRMS Trust inaugurated the conference in the presence of Air Marshal Dr MS Butola, Principal IMS; Dr RP Singh, Medical Superintendent; Dr Neelima Mehrotra, Dean UG along with special guests— Dr Mohit Agarwal, President & Dr Namrata Rathore, Secretary, IRIA Bareilly Chapter. Delegates from different medical colleges of UP & adjacent states of Delhi & Rajasthan with overseas candidates from Nigeria also participated in AIIRC.
