MEDICAL STUDENTS OF SHRI RAM MURTI SMARAK INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES LEAD BY EXAMPLE; DONATES BLOOD SELFLESSLY!

Adequate supply of blood & blood products is one of the greatest challenges faced by India due to the increasing requirement of blood by patients in need of blood transfusion. However, voluntary blood donation is the only means to ensure safe & adequate blood supply.
In this endeavour, every year, Shri Ram Murti Smarak Institute of Medical Sciences (SRMS IMS), Bareilly contributes towards the noble cause through various voluntary BLOOD DONATION CAMPS to celebrate National Voluntary Blood Donation Day, Gandhi Jayanti & 35th Death Anniversary of Late Shri Ram Murti Ji, a veteran Freedom Fighter, Former Minister & ex-Parliamentarian.

Initiating the noble cause, this year, Connexus Club, Medical Students’ Body in association with SRMS IMS Blood Bank, Department of Transfusion Medicine organized a blood donation camp in Medical College Building at SRMS IMS, Bareilly, which witnessed active & voluntary participation of medical students of SRMS IMS who donated blood voluntarily with an aim to save lives, and made a positive impact on the well-being of community.

At the end of the camp, Dr Milan Jaiswal, Professor & Head, Department of Transfusion Medicine, SRMS IMS gave a vote of thanks to Connexus Club in making this event a resounding success, reaffirming the generous commitment of blood donors towards humanity.
