The 35TH UPCOG (UP Chapter of Obstetrics & Gynecology), organized by Bareilly Obstetrics & Gynecological Society, held from April 19-21, 2024, provided a platform to obstetricians from UP for dissemination of knowledge & sharing clinical experiences to improve women health statistics. It was a great opportunity for delegates to engage with esteemed & decorated faculty members, renowned for their contributions to academic field.
Hosted in Grand Nirvana, Bareilly, the event saw active participation of medicos of Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology from Shri Ram Murti Smarak (SRMS) Hospital Bareilly, namely Dr Shashibala Arya, Professor & Head Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology, SRMS IMS & Joint Organizing Secretary of UPCOG 2024; Dr Ruchica Goel, Consultant; Dr Preeti Singh, Assistant Professor; Dr Saumya Agarwal, Senior Resident (SR) & Dr Sunaina Chandra, SR, who played pivotal roles in scientific sessions, panel discussions, delivered insightful talks, chaired sessions & presented scientific papers & posters. Our medicos added significant value to the event, with their contributions being recognized through various awards in different categories, wherein Dr Preeti & Dr Ruchica won Best Paper Award, while Dr Saumya & Dr Sunaina won in Poster presentation.
Earlier, UPCOG 2024 kicked-off with inaugural of Fetal Medicine Workshop by Meerut-based PADMASHREE DR USHA SHARMA, Founder & Patron along with team of doctors at SRMS IMS. The engagement of SRMS doctors proved to be not only a professional achievement, but also a profound learning experience, enhancing their knowledge & expertise in obstetrics & gynecology. Overall, the 3-day conference served as a nexus for knowledge exchange, networking & professional development, reaffirming the commitment of healthcare professionals towards advancing medical science & improving patient care.
