Dear Colleagues & Friends…..

The department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology with the support of department of Radiation Oncology take great pleasure in inviting you for CME on “Preserving Fertility: Awareness to Action”. The CME is being conducted under the aegis of Fertility Preservation Society, India (FPSI) at Shri Ram Murti Smarak Institute of Medical Sciences, Bareilly, on 10th March 2024.

Fertility preservation is the right of cancer patients which has not gained too much of importance. Oncofertility associations and organisations are being formed to develop and practice the concepts of oncofertity. In view of generating awareness and priming up the management concepts of oncofertility, pioneer and seasoned experts in these fields are invited to deliver deliberations. Besides lecture, two panel discussions will be a major academic feast. The panel discussions will include all specialites of oncology- gyne-oncologist, surgical oncologist, radiation oncologist and medical oncologist. besides pediatrician, endocrinologist, fertility specialist and general physician.

Fertility Preservation Society, India (FPSI) was set up in 2014 to address the issue of oncofertility awareness amongst the medical community and cancer survivors in India. The practice of oncofertility (an amalgamation of cancer and fertility management) necessitates not only knowledge of ART and the associated FP techniques, but also an understanding of cancer treatment and its associated fertility risk. Keeping this in mind. the society focused on dissemination of accurate information and skil acquisition through CME’s, conferences and hands on workshops. We are thankful to the FPSI was allowing us to conduct this CME under their flagship.

It has been our endeavour to include a short and crisp scientific programme in this CME. We hope that we will meet your expectations.
