National Flag soared high, resonating with melodious tunes of patriotic songs at Shri Ram Murti Smarak Institute of Medical Sciences (SRMS IMS) & Institute of Paramedical Sciences (IPS), Bareilly on account of 75th Republic Day celebrations that showcased patriotic fervor, spirited celebration & underscored national pride.
The event began with reminiscing and garlanding Mahatma Gandhi & Late Shri Ram Murti ji, along with ceremonial flag hoisting by Shri Dev Murti, Chairman SRMS Trust in the presence of Er Subhash Mehra, Trust Advisor; Air Marshal Dr MS Butola, Principal IMS; Dr RP Singh, Medical Superintendent; Dr Neelima Mehrotra, Dean UG; Dr Rohit Sharma, Dean PG; Dr Jaspreet Kaur, Principal SRMS IPS; Dr Kranthi Kumar,DSW;Dr Rajeev Tandon, Chief Proctor& several other.
The celebrations commenced with soul-stirring patriotic songs performed by IPS and MBBS student choirs, including renditions of ‘Aye Watan Tere Liye’ and ‘Maa Tujhhe Salaam,’ etc. During the event, Shri Dev Murti delivered a motivational address & highlighted upon the modern equipment and breakthrough surgeries being introduced & performed at SRMS IMS. He emphasized uponfirst ever-Robotic Surgery Center at SRMS Hospital. Later, Air Marshal Dr MS Butola emphasized the state-of-the-art facilities and achievements of SRMS IMS, along with students’ and doctors’ accomplishments in national and international conferences. The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr RP Singh, Medical Superintendent, followed by sweet distribution and a high tea.
