On account of Road Safety AwarenessWeek, Shri Ram Murti Smarak Institute of Medical Sciences (SRMS IMS), Bareilly organized an enriching‘Awareness Talk’ on the topic ‘Road Safety’, which was delivered by the guest speaker Shailendra Kumar Singh, ARP, Urban Area, Bareilly. The interactive session was especially designed for the MBBS (Batch 2019-2023) &Paramedical students, which aimed to sensitize students about road safety measures. However, the event coordinator was Nitin Saxena, Sports Officer, SRMS IMS.
During the enlightening session, Shailendra Kumar Singh effectively conveyed the importance of adhering to traffic rules and shared insights into safety precautions, using examples to illustrate how neglecting these measures can lead to accidents. Through engaging video demonstrations, Shailendra Kumar made the session highly interactive, providing a clear picture of safety measures and the potential consequences of disregarding them. The event served as a great platform for students to explore the facts and minutest details of road safety, fostering a sense of awareness & responsibility.
However, the event successfully contributed to shaping safer and more conscientious road users among the participants. Overall, the initiative not only educated but also inspired students to prioritize safety, ensuring a positive impact on their future interactions with traffic regulations.
