In yet another incredible breakthrough at Shri Ram Murti Smarak Institute of Medical Sciences (SRMS IMS), Bareilly, we’re thrilled to share the recent case ofDr Majid Abbas Khawajatreating a 68-year-old female patient from Uttarakhand battling severe anemia with Hb-5.6.Despite years of struggle, enduring multiple blood transfusions over four years &seeking assistance from AIIMS, the patient hadn’t found any significant relief.

However, after conducting patient’s Upper GI endoscopy, I did her APC (Argon Plasma Coagulation) & she got discharged on next day of procedure. When she came back on a follow-up visit, her repeat Hb was 13 & she showed significant improvement in her quality of life, marking a turning point in her health journey.
