On 6th of March 2019 Management Club has organized Mock Parliament with the topic : & quot; Euthanasia and advance Medical directive is a sheer infringement of right to life”. Mock parliament has been organized to nurture the communication capabilities of the students. Students from MBA, MCA, B.Pharma, B.Tech has participated from both CET & CETR. Students had spoken actively on favor and against Shivnandan Shukla from MBA has been appointed as a speaker and the major attraction has been taken by Humair Ali from MBA department who grabbed 2nd position by speaking against the motion. Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering and Technology, Bareilly hosted the finale of the quiz organised by the Institution of Engineers (India) 22nd February 2019.

The gathering was marked by the auspicious presence of Dean Academics Er. Prabhakar Gupta, Dean Student Welfare Er. Ashish Kumar, Quiz Master Er. Sudhir Gupta and various faculty members. There were a total of 7 teams who fought hard to reach the finale. It all started with the lightning of lamp and Saraswati Vandana, praying Goddess Saraswati to shower her blessings to the event. On 9 October, the Computer Science and Information Technology departments at Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering and Technology, Bareilly conducted the state level technical festival COMPTECH 2018, sponsored by CSI. COMPTECH 2018, the one-day technical festival focusing on coding in various languages, witnessed active participation from first year and senior students. The tech fest stood out for its range of events that encouraged the application of classroom learning to address practical problems and to create and innovate.

On 15 September, SRMS celebrated Engineers’ Day and paid tribute to Bharat Ratna Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya on his birth anniversary. There were two programmes at two locations – one at SRMS CET, Bareilly, the other at SRMS CET, Unnao.

The programme, held at Shri Ram Murti Centennial Auditorium within the campus of SRMS CET, Bareilly, was attended by Mr. Dev Murti (Chairman, SRMS Trust), Mr. Aditya Murti (Secretary, SRMS Trust), Dr. Prabhakar Gupta (Professor, Computer Science and Dean, Academics, SRMS CET, Bareilly), faculty members, and students. The traditional lamp lighting ceremony was followed by a tribute to Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya. Mementos were presented to the Chairman and the guests Mr. Govind Reddy and Mr. Debendra Nayak. Then there was a presentation on Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya highlighting his life and his many achievements.

24th August was the day when freshers from different streams at SRMS CET, Bareilly and SRMS CETR were welcomed into SRMS family. As is the tradition, seniors from both colleges organized Freshers party with much enthusiasm. Packed with several fun filled moments and ice breaking activities, the juniors were given a warm welcome on the campus, which will be their second home during the course of their programs.

Shri Ram Murti Smarak Centennial Auditorium was the venue for the remarkable start to the 23rd Freshers program at SRMS CET. The event was blessed by the presence of Shri Dev Murti ji, Chairman, SRMS Trust and many dignitaries from different walks of life. Traditional lighting of the lamp followed by girl’s choir, and classical dance performance to invoke blessings of Lord Ganesha started the proceedings on an auspicious note.

Faculty of Management Studies at SRMS CET, Bareilly organized Paradigm 2K18 on 12th of April in style. The annual management fest of the college has become one of the most talked about events in the calendar year for students. This year was no different as over 300 students from 17 colleges in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand participated in the fest. With them they brought waves of enthusiasm and supporters from their respective colleges, who basked in the high energy atmosphere that marked the day.

‘Vanquish – Set your heart on victory’ was the theme of this year’s event and it reflected the spirit of all the participants, who put their best step forward to bag the honors. The organizers had done an impeccable job to make all students feel welcome. SRMS CET, Bareilly was host to TECHVYOM 2018, the annual national level technical fest on 17th March, 2018. The event saw enthusiastic participation from teams representing multiple colleges in and around Western UP.

The fest consisted of nearly 40 different events that included competitions, quizzes, presentations, case studies, and more. All the engineering fields were represented with students showcasing both their academic knowledge as well as skills with inventions, models, and robots.

The positive spirit of the fest was seen in the fact that both team participation, as well as audience support, was not limited to students from any particular stream.

Runbhumi, Robo Soccer, The Coder, Web Development, Chain Reaction, Catapult, and Vidhyut Utpadnan were some of the most awaited events. Tech Gallery was another key attraction that saw tech models and machines on display with their inventor teams. However, it was LAN Gaming that turned out to be one of the most popular and engaging events, which was not surprising given the high interest in gaming among students. LAN gaming provided a platform to expert gamers for showcasing skills developed through many hours of practice. This year the event had the ever popular Counter-Strike and Call of Duty as the platforms. Different teams of B.Tech (all branches) across 2nd, 3rd, and 4thyear besides MBA 2nd year participated with high levels of energy.

Faculty of Management Science, SRMS is going to organize a Case Study Competition “SAMIKSHA-2k18” to provide the students a platform to envision engage and design the best possible solution to a business case study within an allocated time frame in teams of two to three members. Teams will be judged on their solution to the problem, PowerPoint and 15 minute presentation.

The objective of this event is to encourage the participants to exercise their skills and knowledge on “real world” cases. Participants will be provided with a case, and they have to employ the case as a means to both highlight the issue and create potential solutions for the same. The date for this event is March 26, 2018 (Monday) 2:00 pm – 4:40 pm onwards.

8 February 2018 marked the day of the 17th Annual Convocation ceremony for Shri Ram Murti Smarak (SRMS) CET, Bareilly. The event held at the SRMS CET, Bareilly campus also marked the 6th convocation of SRMS CETR, Bareilly and 3rd convocation of SRMS CET, Lucknow all of which were conducted simultaneously in one grand ceremony. The venue was Shri Ram Murti Centennial Auditorium.

The date is of special significance for SRMS Trust since it marks the birth anniversary of Late Shri Ram Murti Ji, the inspiration behind the Trust. The chief guests for the event were Prof.(Dr.) R.K Singh, Hon’ble VC & Director Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Bareilly and Mr Harsh Malhotra, Vice President of Siemens Healthcare Ltd, Gurgaon.
The ceremony began at 11:15 am with the assembly of dignitaries and other participants. Once the procession reached the venue the proceedings were officially started with lighting of the Ceremonial Lamp of learning by the Chief Guest followed by invocation of Saraswati Vandana and College Geet.

On 24th -25th January, 2018 SRMSCET organized Zonal Sports meet in Collaboration with Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University Lucknow. The Inauguration Ceremony started by Welcoming Chairman Shri Dev Murti and then the event proceeded with the flag hosting and march past. In this event student of various colleges participated in many indoor and outdoor games. The opening Ceremony was followed by the motivational words and the blessings of the Head of SRMS Institute Shri Dev Murti in which he motivated the students by defining the values of hard work in every sphere of life. For giving a platform to the whole sports event a mashaal run was initiated. Lastly all the participants took oath for following the decorum and rules of the games. At last of the program a drill was performed by the students and inaugural session was closed with the vote of thanks.

The Battle For Excellence held on 18th to 19th February, 2017.

SRMS CET organized its Annual-Fest ASHWAMEDHA – Zest 2K17 for the students to exhibit their hidden talents. The entitled theme for this year was ‘Charges de joie’ as it defines itself as the perennial flow of enthusiasm, excitement, euphoria, ecstasy, elation and exhilaration embodied in ZEST.

Aamod is devised for SRMSCET to achieve Physical and Mental synergy while studying technical and Professional courses. It is perceived to have a common platform where the participants could showcase their talents of Physical and Mental synergy and competitiveness while maintaining the sportsman spirit.

The notion behind this event is to develop the overall personality of the students while studying the selected courses.

Students of Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering & Technology, Bareilly and College of Engineering Technology & Research, Bareilly put on their sporting shoes and made their presence felt at the State Level Sports Meet organized by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University on the 21st & 22nd Feb 2017. The two-day extravaganza was held at Institute of Management Studies, Ghaziabad, and it brought together some of the best talents in various sporting arenas. Amongst them were SRMS students who had excelled in previously held zonal meet.

Competing against some of the best in the state, Manisha Pandey, SRMS CETR student, won three silver medals in the 100 metre, 200 metre sprints and high jump. Kriti Mohan bagged the silver in the 800 metre race. SRMS CET students Komal Midha and Shobha Rajput won the silver in Table Tennis and Shubham Saxena earned the bronze in the boy’s High Jump event. Thus, with seven medals, students of the institutes made a good impression, both of themselves and their institutes, at the event.



Faculty of Management Science at Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering & Technology, Bareilly hosted its much-awaited National Management Fest – PARADIGM 2017 on 8 April 2017. Organized by the Management Club at the institute, the festival offered a platform to budding managers to display their talents in different arenas. This year more than 200 students from various educational institutions made their presence felt at the fest, making it a huge success.

‘Adroit – Let The Games Begin’ was the theme of Paradigm 2017 and it lived up to it to the excitement that built in the weeks leading up to the event. Sports Club, Strategic Club, Literary Club, Cultural Club, and Technology Club of SRMS CET, Bareilly joined forces to ensure that everything functioned smoothly on the big day. The campus took on a festive look as it welcomed students from different institutes. They participated in several fun activities while they competed for top prizes. Best Manager, Mad Ad, Train Your Brain, Corporate Rangoli, Symbiosis, and Treasure Hunt were the smartly planned activities that formed the core of Paradigm 17. Each of these activities helped participants display their talent, creativity and management skills. Best Manager was a simulation game where the decision-making ability of participants was analyzed through various situations. Solving management puzzles was the focus of the first round while Situational Role Play formed the second round of this popular event.

SRMSCET Organised Pragati : A session/talk on Women Empowerment on 15 April 2017, which was an initiative that highlighted the problems faced by Indian Women, & discussing some measures to overcome these problems, thus empowering the weaker section of the society, which in turn would be a great step towards the development of the nation.

It was an interactive session , where the attenders expressed their views & gave opinions discussing some opportunities, which a woman should adapt, to make herself more independent, more powerful and capable to stand for her rights.

Freshers from different streams at Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering & Technology, Bareilly were recently welcomed in campus with fun-filled parties organized by their seniors. With Fresher’s 2K17 held on 16 September, it became a day to remember. Shri Dev Murti-ji (Chairman, SRMS Trust), Mr. Aditya Murti (Trust Secretary), Mr. Subhash Mehra (Trust Administrator), and faculty members graced the occasion – the perfect proceedings to welcome new students. High levels of energy and enthusiasm added to the exuberant mood of the day.

After all, a Fresher’s Party is intended to make new students feel comfortable on campus and get initiated into its diverse activities. For the new batch of MBA students, there was ‘Novato Fiesta’, a show of creativity with singing and dancing performances. The play put on by the seniors drew resounding applause from the audience. Fashion and glamour was on full display during the ‘Dress Your Best’ party organized by ME department. The highlight of the party was introducing a student who has his name in ‘Limca Book of Records’. When they say SRMS draws students with unique talents, they clearly mean that!

And, talking about special moments, it doesn’t get any bigger than being in spotlight and winning coveted titles. Freshers participated in rounds of self-introduction, ramp walk, talent show, and Q & A session. Winners were crowned Ms. Fresher, Mr. Fresher, Ms. Talent, and Mr. Talent. Now that’s some way to make your entry on to the campus! With freshers putting their best step forward, it turned out to be a fitting finale to the party activities. On the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Sir (Er.) Mokshagundam Vishvevaraya, 50th engineer’s day was celebrated in SRMS Centennial Auditorium on 15th September 2017. It is a day that marks importance of this wide field without which infrastructure, advancement, comfort and innovation was impossible.

The day was celebrated here with a sense of motivation and happiness. Our honourable chief guests Er..B.S. Prasad sir and Er. Sanjay Pal sir were with the SRMS family as a guiding light. They motivated students to achieve more, learn more and innovate more.

Respected Chairman, chief guests and other dignitaries motivated students for “the persuit of excellence.”

Best engineers award was awarded thereafter to Prateek Agarwal (SRMS CET) and Miss Shamama (SRMSCET&R).

Thus, the day was well celebrated and words of our honorable chief guests and dignitaries remained to guide through and motivate.




Nurturing scientific acumen in the young budding minds of the students is a herculean task. Government gropes for the ways to incline the students towards scientific innovations and research. Inspire, ‘innovation in science for Inspired Research’ so that the series of inventions and innovations to make life comfortable may not be hampered. INSPIRE ‘Innovation in science for Inspired Research’, and ambitious project of government is also one of such initiatives. It is sponsored and managed by the ‘Department of Science & Technology’ under ministry of science & Technology, New Delhi on 16th -20th Sep , 2017 to promote the students to opt for high research area of Science at higher education level. The programme aims at building critical resource pool for promoting S & T and R & D base.

It endeavourers to fill the knowledge gap among young talents whose prudence if moulded rightly may bring laurels in the field of Research and development. They are given exposure of the miraculous vistas of the field whose experience will not only enrich them but also take the whole world one step a head in the area of expertise. It is a farsighted initiative to prepare a strong base in the field of Science and Scientific innovations. It is also an attempt of saving the young scientific talents to be drained fruitlessly. The programme aims at nurturing a talent pool of utilizing and developing first principles in science. Under the systematic plan of the programme the brightest students of 11th grade are chosen and are given golden opportunity of interacting with research awardees, doing practical in labs and discussing various issues with learned faculty and scientists. The program not only enriches but also shapes the vision of further scientists. It does not provide only exposure to practical training but also gives scholarship for undertaking Bachelor and masters level education in the natural & Basic Sciences.

The 5th World Pharmacist Day was celebrated with a plomb at SRMS CET, Bareilly in the presence of dignitaries from the Trust. Organized by Pharmquimica Club, the celebrations on the 25th September ,2017 followed the theme “From research to health care: Your pharmacist is at your service”. It paid tribute to professionals in the world of Pharmacy, who contribute to the healthcare industry in myriad forms including research and providing direct care. Students of Pharmacy presented Shri Dev Murti, Chairman

SRMS Trust with a plant, which symbolized Green and Clean India. In his inaugural speech, he referred to Pharmacy as a vertical in healthcare system. “Pharmacists and other health care professionals need to be more concerned with continuity, integration of processes and socio-health coordination, which is an important but often forgotten role of community pharmacies,” he said.

The day was marked with a series of activities that added an element of surprise and fun to the proceedings. Poster Presentation, Extempore, Examensque (Case Study) and Pharma Talent Hunt were some of the events that drew an enthusiastic response from the students. Mr. Shailendra Kumar Verma, Faculty in-charge, Pharmquimica Club offered the Vote of Thanks and concluded the day’s events, which appreciated the hard work of Pharmacists and also created memories that will be remembered for a long time.



On 2 and 3 November, Aamod and Zest, the hugely popular sports and cultural fests of SRMS CET, Bareilly were hosted with much enthusiasm and energy. The two-day extravaganza witnessed over 1500 students from 15 engineering colleges across North India fighting for the top honours. As competitive spirit was on full display during the various sports and cultural events, so was easy camaraderie. This made for true success, both for the participants and organizers.

Organized by the TYRO Club, Riviera (reliving the era) was theme this year. The organizers ensured all participants receive a warm and colorful welcome on the day of the fest. Aamod 2017 began with flag hoisting by Shri Dev Murti, Chairman SRMS Trust. It was followed by the oath taking ceremony and the traditional Aamod Run, which has become the hallmark of the event.The cultural segment, Zest 2017, was then inaugurated by Shri Dev Murti with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. In his speech the Chief Guest inspired the students to put their best step forward in different arenas and do justice to their talent. “There is waning interest in outdoor games, which needs to be rectified,” he said to a round of applause. Cultural programs, including a sensational dance performance, marked the opening ceremony.

The sports events were not to be outdone. Badminton, Football, Kho Kho, Volleyball, various Athletics events, and Cricket had the students rooting for more. Each participant was doing everything possible to bag the winner’s medal. After all, it wasn’t just personal achievement but also a matter of pride for their respective colleges. In a competitive environment like this, it was heartening to see students cheering every valiant effort on the sporting arena.

Of course, there had to be winners and they were felicitated in a star-studded closing ceremony. Shri Dev Murti, Shri Aditya Murti (Trust Secretary), Mrs. Asha Murti (Trustee), and Er. Subhash Mehra (Trust Administrator) along with several top names from SRMS Group of Institutions were present on the occasion. It was a proud moment for them, not only because of the success of the event but also of their own teams as well.

Solo Dance, Drama Legend, Whistling, and Mehendi were some of the cultural events which saw participants from SRMS CET, Bareilly coming on top. The home team also bagged Girls and Boys Kho Kho, Girls Volleyball, Girls Table Tennis Doubles, and the prestigious Cricket top prizes to leave their mark on Aamod 2017. DJ Night brought the proceedings to a fitting end as students mingled and danced to the music in the air. All considered, Aamod and Zest helped create memories for a lifetime.



SPIC-MACAY is an institution engaged in propagating classical music and dances. It attempts to familiarize the young generation of the country with their cultural roots. As such, college has made it a point to invite best performers in classical dances and instrumental/vocal music. World-fame Kathak Dancer Madam Mahua Shankar and group gave their superb performances under the banner of SPIC-MACAY at SRMSCET on 15 Nov 2017.





The Tyro Club organized “AAMOD”, an annual sports meet, open to all Technical colleges, every year. Various events like: track and field events, various outdoor and indoor games like Badminton, Volleyball, Table Tennis, Basketball, Squash, Football, Kho-Kho, and Mini Cricket etc are organized as a part of the celebrations.




“TECHVYOM” is a national level technical festival that is organized by the college annually. Various technical events are organized during this festival, in which participants from various colleges take part. A workshop on “ROBOTICS” has become a regular feature of our annual event.


A treat for affective domain of learning was offered by SRMSCET on 17th March, 2016. A Kavi Sammelan was organized by the Trust for all SRMS fraternity. The evening became electrifying by the different colors of emotions on single platform. The rendition of poetic brilliance left the audience dumbfounded. Most of the poets ridiculed the lacunae of society and bagged thunderclap.


SRMSCET is an institution known for its fusion of culture with education. The students get exposure to different kind of activities time to time. This time the college organized a live dance performance on 7th April 2016. Shri Ram Murti Centennial Auditorium, SRMS College of Engineering & Technology, Bareilly begged appreciation for the vibrant Kathak & Bharatnatyam performance “Krishnmayee Meerandal, An Evening of Melody and Rhythm”. Stories of life of Lord Krishna were depicted in the traditional style of dancing. The hall became alive with the alluring expressions of dancers during the performance.

The performances not only mesmerized the spectators but also got a huge round of applause. The students for whom it was the very first time to witness a live performance enjoyed the program with great zeal.


SPIC-MACAY is an institution engaged in propagating classical music and dances. It attempts to familiarize the young generation of the country with their cultural roots. As such, college has made it a point to invite the best performers in classical dances and instrumental/vocal music. World-fame couple artist Jai Rama Rao and Vanshree Rao (Kuchipudi Dancer), Shri Puran Chand Wadali group and Kathak Dancer Nalini-Kamalini gave their superb performances under the banner of SPICMACAY.


To witness a live performance or the enactment of a play is in itself a very exciting experience. SRMSCET offered this treat for the whole SRMS family on 10th November, 2016. There was enactment of the play “Masterpiece” that was inspired by a famous story “Masterpiece”. The play was enacted by Garima Saxena & Party under the signature “Rang Prashikshu Group of Theatre Professionals”. The play was very successfully presented by the group and was able to receive mind-blowing response filling the bags with a thunderclap. The play with two protagonists and two other characters very efficiently arouse the interests of the spectators and made them spellbound with the story of a painter whose masterpiece painting gave a new life to a young girl.


The Techfest started at 9:00 am on 19th October, 2016 with the inaugural session in the presence of SRMS Trust secretary Shri Aditya Murti , SRMS Trust administrator Er. Subhash Mehra, Prof. A. K. Srivastava Principal SRMS CETR and Tech Fest co-coordinator Er. L. S. Maurya. The tech fest comprised of 7 events, 3 individual and 4 team events, namely website design, contest programming contest, PPT presentation, rapid, software development contest and computer quiz. In these events approximately 450 students of M. TECH, B. TECH & MCA from different Engineering college like MJP Rohilkhand University, ANA engineering college, Rajshree, INVERTIS University, SSVIT, FUTURE, SRMSCET, SRMSCETR, and SRMSCET UNNAO participated.


SRMS-CET aims to bring together the brightest of minds to compete, collaborate and connect. Serving this purpose the Institute organized an inter-college competition “INDIPRENEUR’2016- the Business Plan Competition” that brought to students the best platform to test their business acumen. There were two rounds in this competition, semi-final (October 5, 2016) and final round (October 22, 2016). This Inter-College competition offered the students an unparalleled opportunity to put forth new ideas and receive guidance as they launch a new venture.

The objective of this event was to encourage student entrepreneurship and cultivate out-of-box thinking amongst the budding talent across various professional institutions. The event was a great success that witnessed enthusiastic participation from all over the state.


On the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Sir (Er.) Mokshagundam Vishvevaraya, 49th engineer’s day was celebrated in the SRMS Centennial Auditorium on 15th of September 2016.The guest of honor Er. Nikhil Pandey, DRM, NE Railway Izzatnagar, Bareilly and Er. R.K. Srivastava, G.M. IFFCO Aonla graced the occasion with their presence.

The invited guests enlightened the students with their motivational words. After that, the prizes were distributed to the students. Ms. Vanshika Shukla (CS-13) got the award for the best engineer and Ms Shamama Kamal (CS-14) and Ms Oshin Kandpal (CS-14) got the first consolation prize for the “Digital Marketing” competitive event held in August, 2016. Then Trust Secretary Aditya Murti addressed the gathering with his motivational words followed by the vote of thanks by the Verve President Ms Shubhi Rastogi.

This event emphasized on bringing out the ideas of sparky brains and the ways to implement those ideas. Principal Dr. A. K. Srivastava and HODs of various departments were invited to Judge the event.


The College has implemented Spoken Tutorial Classes as per the guidelines of AKTU. As being a Local Chapter of NPTEL, the online Video lectures are accessible to the students and faculty members.


SRMSCET believes in overall development of its students, for which activities beyond curriculum are given equal importance. The college not only provides facilities but also persuades for:

  • Games and Sports : The outdoor, facilities include Athletics, Hockey, Football, Cricket, Basketball, Volleyball, Lawn Tennis, Badminton etc. The indoor facilities include Table Tennis, Badminton, Chess, Carrom, Billiards etc. in its Multipurpose Hall.
  • Gymnasium: A well equipped and modern Gymnasium is there in the Multipurpose Hall for the students and staff.
  • Departmental Clubs : To enhance the technical skills and application of understanding, Departmental clubs are also in action. These include clubs like:

    • Robotrax : The club promotes robotics as a field wherein students learn and practice details relating to robotics. The club organizes workshops. wherein professionals impart interesting knowledge and students build their own small multipurpose robots.
    • Aeronautics : In this club the students learn the fine art of flying small remote-controlled planes.
    • Equinox : In this club the final year students organize online tests for the benefit of juniors. This helps students to prepare for placement.
    • Synergy : The club is promoted by students of Electrical & Electronics Engineering and helps in imparting practical knowledge to the students in fields related to Electrical Engineering.
    • Pharmqumica: The club is promoted by students of Pharmacy and several activities related to the development of pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical industry are carried out.
    • Management : The club is promoted by students of MBA and several activities leading to development of managerial skills are carried out under this club.

  • TYRO : The club of All : To develop leadership qualities, teamwork, interpersonal & managerial skills and overall personality development of students, a club of the students of all courses is there. The club is instrumental in developing the inherent talents of students by giving various platforms to them. The club organizes the following activities every year.

    • AAMOD : The Sports Meet : It is organized by the institute in which students of various technical institution participate in numerous sport event.
    • ZEST: The Cultural Festival : To nourish the multi-cultural heritage of India by encouraging student participation in cultural events, a cultural festival is organized which includes cultural and literary events like debates, one-act plays, solo and group dances, calligraphy, rangoli, mimicry, treasure hunt, painting, fashion show, musical evening etc. Regional Technical and Management Institutions are invited to participate in this festival.
    • TECHVYOM: The Technical Festival : The students organize a National Level Technical Festival in the college campus annually, to provide students a platform for the achievement of mental synergy in technical spirit and innovations by events like Paper Presentation, Software and Model Presentations, Technical Quizzes etc.


Department of Pharmacy organised one day National Seminar on “Vision 2020 : Needs and Prospects of Pharmaceutical Research in India” on March 01,2014. Dr. Ravi Shankar Bhatta, Scientist from CDRI was the chief guest on this occasion, Dr.Javed Ali from Jamia Hamdard New Delhi delivered keynote speech. Around 400 delegates from 18 institutes took part in this seminar. The purpose of such knowledge sharing campaign was to make the students aware about the available prospects of pharmaceutical research in India.


Department of CS, IT and MCA of Shri Ram Murti Smarak college if Engineering and Technology Bareilly organised one day National Conference on Recent Trends in Software Engineering Research(RTSER-2014) on March 08,2014. Several eminent scholars, academicians and professionals from different parts of the country participated in this conference.The aim of the academic conference was to provide forum to researchers and practitioners, research and industry to meet and share cutting edge advancement in the field of Software Engineering.


Two day management Seminar was Organised by MBA Department of Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering and Technology on November 14-15,2014. the objective of the seminar was to provide an interactive platform to the researchers and experts to deliberate on various current issues in the era of globalization. The focus of the marketing strategy is “Think Globally and Act Locally”. Incorporates, the managers are continuously facing complex challenges while deciding for marketing like an aging population, the growth of the middle class in emerging economies crisis and are expected to improve further in the coming years. The emerging scenarios are leading for challenges and opportunities.Hence the consistent business performance is not enough for a company to sustain. The resource persons were Prof.M.Muzzamil, V.C Dr.B.R Ambedker University Agra, Prof A.M. Agarwal Pro V.V GLA Mathura, Prof N.K.Sharma IIT Kanpur, Prof. B.K.Jha, KNIPS Sultanpur and Mr.Amit Singh from DDB Mudra Group New Delhi. ToTal 36 papers were presented by the researchers from various institutions of national recognition and repute.


5th National Conference was organized by ECE department on 15 th November ,2014, The facets of science, technology and engineering are changing very fast . Engineering and Technology becoming increasingly inter and multidisciplinary and it calls for multi-institutional and in several cases, multi-country participation.Major experimental facilities even in several areas of basic research require very large material, human and intellectual resources, Science and Technology have become so closely intertwined and so reinforce each other so as to be effective.

Paradigm 2014

Management Club of Shri Ram Murti SmarakCET organised its annual fest Paradigm-2012 ‘Anvesaka Wings Of Innovation on 19 th of April 2014. The event intended to develop creativity and leadership traits among the participants’ various activities took place the entire day and the students from in-house and different college participated in full vigour The event was started with the showering prayers to Maa Saraswati followed by dance performance. The programme initiated by a welcome speech by Dr.Anant Srivastav (HOD, MBA Department)

Inspire 2014

Shri Ram Murti SmarakCET organised INSPIRE Internship-2014 five day programme from the 7 June to 11 June 2014 and November 27 to 1 December 2014 which was sponsored by Department of Science and Technology ,Government of India. Students from various schools appearing for +2 attended the programs for their betterment in the field of education and learning.

The world record “Longest singing show Solo Performance” has been achieved by Shri Ram Murti Smarak Trust Bareilly, U.P India On Oct 17-18, a trust organized the Longest singing show Solo Performance which lasted 27 Hours and 04 Minutes Shri Ram Murti Smarak Centennial Auditorium Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering And Technology. 310 performers and 30 compares performed in the show .The record was made during the event ‘Diwali Carnival’ organized by Amar Ujala.
