3-DAY HACKATHON 2.0 AT SRMS ENGINEERING COLLEGE DELIVERS 36-HOURS OF NON-STOP INNOVATION, UNVEILING SMART CAMPUS SOLUTIONS GALORE!

The exciting 36 HOURS LIVEHACKATHON 2.0, held from May 2-4, 2024, organized by SRMS College of Engineering & Technology (CET), Bareilly in association with Tech Edge Cell & Institution’s Innovation Council, concluded with great energy & technical expertise, which served as a profound learning & sharing experience for students & inspired them to present their groundbreaking ideas, offering a total cash prize worth up to Rs 1 LAKH.

The Hackathon centered on ‘Smart Campus Solutions,’ challenging students to innovate & create solutions for real-world challenges in Campus Management & Sustainability. However, the final day of Hackathon was marked by evaluation & presentation of diverse prototypes by an expert panel, which were meticulously assessed based on innovation, functionality, scalability, user experience & their potential impact on campus life.

This evaluative process unfolded in the presence of Shri Dev Murti, Chairman SRMS Trust, Dr Prabhakar Gupta, Principal SRMSCET; Dr Shailendra Deva, Vice Principal; Er Kapil Bhushan, DSW & several others.Shri Dev Murti appreciated students for their amazing workable ideas. Event Coordinator Amit Karmakar, Assistant Professor, CSE presented a comprehensive report, encapsulating highlights & achievements of Hackathon. Thereafter, Er Subhash Mehra, Trust Advisor gave a motivational speech & Dr Shailesh Saxena, Head, IT delivered vote of thanks.

Towards the end, Prize Distribution ceremony took place, wherein First, Second & Third positions were grabbed by Team Technophiles from MIT, Moradabad; Team Sangharsh from Gyan Ganga College of Technology, Jabalpur & Team Ace Masters from SRMS CET Bareilly respectively. However, Team Peak Performers from MCET, Tamil Nadu; Team Ingenious Quad & Team Incredible Cops from SRMSCET received consolation prizes.
