Department of MBA & MCA, Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering and Technology, Bareilly in collaboration with the UN Global Compact Network India and Dr. A. P. J Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow organised the 3rd International Conference in hybrid mode on the theme Emerging Issues on Contemporary Business Practices in the Era of Intelligence (EICBI) with subtheme Sustainable Economic Development through Technological Transformation on 26th February 2022.
Conference started with the lighting of lamp by the dignitaries Shri Dev Murti Ji, Founder and Chairman, SRMS Trust, Shri Adiya Murti Ji, Secretary, SRMS Trust, Er. Subhash Mehra , Advisor, SRMS Trust, Prof. (Dr.) Prabhakar Gupta, Dean Academics, Prof.(Dr.) Anuj Kumar, Director, Training, Development and Placements, Head MBA and Dr. Ruchi Jain Garg, Academic Coordinator M.Tech. Program. The welcome address was delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Prabhakar Gupta, Dean Academics, SRMSCET and Conference Chair; he shared his views also about Business Analytics.
Theme of the conference was presented by Prof. (Dr.) Anuj Kumar, Director TDP, Head MBA and Conference Convener, he highlighted the components of Business Intelligence emphasising on Data Driven Systems. It was followed by the unveiling of E-Souvenir by the dignitaries on the dais.
Inaugural ceremony was addressed by Chief Guest, Dr. Monika Sethi, Vice Chancellor, KK Modi University, Durg, Chattisgarh. She shared her views about the changes in technology, stating that we need to work together for the sustainable growth of economy. The Keynote Speaker, Mr. Asheesh Shukla, HR (Head), Dhampur Sugar Mills Ltd., New Delhi, expressed his views about the Theory of Mass Production, Robotics, and Financial Crisis. Guest of Honour, Mr. Mandale Walls, Senior Tax Consultant, Ernst and Young, USA highlighted the mantra to be successful “Being Optimistic is the Key to Success”.
Addressing the conference, Shri Dev Murti Ji, Founder and Chairman, SRMS Trust, delivered his words of wisdom and added interesting perspective about the era of intelligence with a quote “Data is Becoming New Raw Material for the Business”. Shri Aditya Murti Ji, Secretary, SRMS Trust, highlighted how the business, small or large, survived and thrived in the Covid pandemic by taking challenges in a positive manner and by applying the technology in business. Dr. Ruchi Jain Garg, Conference Convener extended the vote of thanks to the dignitaries in inaugural session.
This conference was divided into five 5 tracks, held online, as per the specializations.
.Track 1 was for Marketing with session chairs Dr. Shahnawaz Abidin, Assistant Professor, Department of Management SMBS, Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi and Dr. Amar Johri, Assistant Professor, Department of Accounting, College of Administrative and Financial Sciences, Saudi Electronic University, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Track 1 was coordinated by Dr. Pankaj Agarwal, Associate Professor, FMS, SRMSCET.
.Track 2 was for Human Resources with session chairs Dr. Suresh Pattanayak, Associate Professor, Raipur Institute of Technology, Raipur and Dr. Priyanka Indoria, Assistant Professor, Guru Govind Singh Indraprasth University, New Delhi. It was coordinated by Ms. Swapnil Mishra, Assistant Professor, FMS, SRMSCET.
.Track 3 for General Management and IT with session chairs Dr. Vandana Mehta, Assistant Professor, Jagannath International Management School, New Delhi and Mr. Arvind Kumar Mishra, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Application, SRMSCET. Coordinator of the track was Dr. Mohd. Danish Chishti, Assistant Professor, FMS, SRMSCET.
.Track 4 was for Finance with session chairs Dr. Sana Beg, Senior Assistant Professor, Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi and Dr. Mohd Salman Shamsi, Assistant Professor, Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Nagpur. Mr. Deepak Batra, Assistant Professor, FMS, SRMS CET coordinated track 4.
.Track 5 was dedicated to student researchers, session chairs were Dr. Sanjay Pandey, Professor, Department of Computer Application, SRMSCET and Dr. Shobhit Kumar, Assistant Professor,
FMS,SRMSCET. This track was coordinated by Mr. Vijay Kumar Dubey, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Application, SRMSCET.
In valedictory session the report presentation on the conference was done by Dr. Ruchi Jain Garg, Academic Coordinator M.Tech. Program and Conference Convener, followed by Address of Chief Guest Prof. (Dr.) Amar Johri, Faculty, Department of Accounting at College of Administrative and Financial Sciences, Saudi Electronic University, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He explained relevance of business intelligence in current scenario and emphasised on the fact that digital marketing is the next future and at last the vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Mohd. Danish Chishti, Assistant Professor, FMS and Organising Secretary, followed by the National Anthem.
The Best Paper Awards were announced by Prof. (Dr.) Prabhakar Gupta, Dean Academics, SRMSCET and Conference Chair. Following papers received best paper awards:

Track 2 Human Resources:
Panoptic Study of Digital Competence: A Bibliometric Study Using Vosviewer by Dr. Priyanka Indoria, Ms. Reema Agrawal and Dr. Pooja Jaiswal, Amity Business School, Amity University, Haryana.
Track 3 General Management and IT:
Role of Family and Home Caregivers in Home Healthcare Management their Dilemma and Challenges for Chronic and Critical Disease Patients in Covid Times by Ms. Mihika Pal, and Dr. P.S. Raychaudhuri, School of Management and Business Studies, Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi.
Track 4 FINANCE:
Impact of Microfinance on Quality of Life of Poor People before and after joining Self Help Groups – A Comparative study on selected blocks of Meerut District by Ms. Sarika B Chougala and Prof. (Dr.) R.K.Ghai, Acharya Vishnugupt Subharti College of Management and Commerce, Swami Vivekanad Subharti University.
Track 5 Student Track:
Impact of Facebook as Learning Tool on Students During Covid by Ms. Muskan Rana and Ms. Subhi Saxena, Department of MBA, SRMSCET, Bareilly.
And
Security Issues in the Field of Block Chain by Ms. Gitanjali Joshi Department of MCA SRMSCET, Bareilly.
This conference was a great success with participation of 300 delegates contributing 70 research papers from various states on India and foreign countries also. Overall, it facilitated a powerful platform for engaging exchange of ideas on modern- day business practices through dialogues with experts in field. We are thankful to all the dignitaries and delegates for their valuable contribution in making this conference a grand success.
