Let’s hear from one of its esteemed faculty members, DR ASHUTOSH PANDEY, Assistant Professor, Department of Basic Sciences, who has introduced a PATENT titled ‘Solar & Wind Hybrid Energy Generation Apparatus’, which provides solution for energy generation & has been granted by Controller General of Patents, Designs & Trade Marks, Government of India.
Speaking about his design patent, Dr Ashutosh, having 31 Research Publications, 4 Book Chapters & 2 Patents to his credit along with Research Paper titled ‘Integration of IoT, Data Sets & Cloud Computing towards Space-Science 5.0’ published in Scopus-Indexed IEEE Journal, shares, “This innovative device primarily focus on production of solar & wind energy, suitable for remote areas, agricultural lands, rural regions & hilly terrains, where consistent access to conventional electricity is a big challenge. Moreover, in hilly & remote areas, the device is used as an alternate for pumping water. However, this system is versatile & can adapt to diverse geographical conditions, making it an ideal solution for regions with erratic electricity supply. By harnessing the complementary nature of solar & wind power, it significantly reduces our dependability on fossil fuels & mitigate impacts of climate change, ensuring a consistent & reliable energy supply.”
Dr Ashutosh, having Utility Patent titled ‘Smarter & Greener Energy Generation Using Photovoltaic & Machine Learning Techniques’ published by Indian Government’s Patent Office, adds, “Overall, this apparatus offers versatility & can be applied to harness renewable energy efficiently, contributing to sustainable & greener future”.
