SHRI RAM MURTI SMARAK PHARMACY STUDENTS SHINE IN SPEECH COMPETITION- ‘Speak to Lead’ ON MENTAL HEALTH

The Pharmquimica Club of Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering & Technology (SRMS CET), Pharmacy, Bareilly recently organized ‘Speak to Lead-A Speech Competition’ on ‘Mental Health is the Universal Human Right’, as a part of their ‘Zero-Hour’ activity. The activity aimed at broadening the understanding as well as inspiring Pharmacy students on the importance and protection of mental health.

With immense enthusiasm, total 17 students took part in ‘Zero Hour’ activity & delivered speeches, highlighting the pernicious impact of discrimination, harmful stereotypes, and social stigma on mental well-being. Students addressed how these barriers affect healthy relationships, social interactions & creates inclusive environment. Students confidently exhibited enthusiasm in their presentations, fostering awareness to promote mental health.

Later, the winners were announced on the basis of content, fluidity, voice modulation and body language, wherein Chahak Agarwal (Batch 2022); Hansika Varshney (Batch 2021); Keshav Baghel (Batch 2023) clinched first, second & third prize respectively. The competition was adjudged by Rizwana Bee & Sony Singh—Assistant Professors at Pharmacy Department. The activity concluded with a vote of thanks by Utkarshini Singh, Chairperson of Pharmquimica Club.
