The Pharmaquimica Club of Shri Ram Murti Smarak (SRMS) College of Engineering & Technology (Pharmacy), Bareilly organized an engaging activity ‘Do It Yourself (DIY) Medicine—Adverse Effects of Drugs’ as a part of its Zero-Hour activity, which was meticulously designed to enrich pharmacy students’ comprehension of the adverse effects associated with medications, and crucial aspect of pharmaceutical science.

With immense enthusiasm, total 30 students took part divided in 2 groups, wherein they were supposed to pick up chits on the spot that mentioned drug names. Within a time, limit of 1 minute for discussion with their teammate & additional 1-minute timeframe provided to explain about the drugs, students highlighted the harmful reactions of medicinal products. Explaining about medicinal reactions, students also predicted hazards from future administrations of drugs, specific treatment & alteration of dosage regimen.

Towards the end, the winners were announced wherein Pharmacy students namely Ankur Rathore (Batch 2021) & Ansh Pandey (Batch 2023) grabbed first position while Chahak Agarwal & Priyanshi Parashakti (Batch 2022) stood second. The third position was fetched by Chirayu Sharma (Batch 2021) & Anuj Kumar (Batch 2022). The winners were judged by Rizwana Bee & Mansi Rastogi, Assistant Professors, CET (Pharmacy). Later, the event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Arbaz khan & Sainaa Johri, B Pharm, Batch 2021.
