“Engineering wonders cloaked in abundant layers of artistic characteristics of ancient India”. To make students understand the importance of Engineering, the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, SRMS College of Engineering, Bareilly organized a seminar on Topic “ANCIENT ENGINEERING MARVELS IN INDIA” on 5th November 2022, Saturday. It was a great platform for B.Tech. students to understand that concept of engineering has existed since ancient times as humans devised fundamental inventions such as the pulley, lever, and wheel. The Seminar held at CS SEMINAR HALL from 2:10pm to 4:10pm in presence of Er. Hiresh Gupta, HOD, CSE, Dr. Jyoti Agarwal, Associate Professor, CSE, Mrs. Nazia Parveen, HOD, EC, Er. Shailesh Saxena, HOD, IT, Mr. Ashwini Kumar, Assistant Professor, ME and other faculties of CSE Department. The Seminar was attended by second, third and final year students of B.Tech. all Branches. Many students participated in this Seminar and presented their views on ANCIENT MARVELS IN INDIA like Kailasa Temple at Ellora Caves, The Taj Mahal at Agra, Konark Sun Temple at Puri, The Great Wall of India, The Ram Setu and many more. The Seminar concluded with the Prize and Certificate distribution ceremony to the winners and participants. The winners were:
1. First Prize : Tasmiya Khan and Akshay Balyan (CS-2020)
2. Second Prize : Ishita Sharma (CS-2019)
3. Third Prize : Yash Chaudhary and Anoop Kumar Gautam (CS-2020
