The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) at Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering & Technology (SRMS CET), Bareilly, recently conducted an enriching Guest Lecture on ‘Problem Solving and Ideation’ that provided a comprehensive understanding of effective problem-solving techniques & strategies to foster innovative thinking. The Special Guest & Keynote Speaker was Dr Avtar Singh, Chief Researcher, Adama Science & Technology University, Adama, Ethiopia.
Designed especially for B Tech students of ECE & EN branches, the masterclass aimed to delve deeply into the intricacies of problem-solving methodologies & ideation techniques. During the engaging session, Dr Avtar Singh sharedh is wealth of experience & expertise in the domain of Science & Engineering, focusing on technical challenges for societal betterment.
The interactive session facilitated lively discussions and exchange of ideas, wherein participants actively engaged in brainstorming sessions & practical exercises. Dr Avtar Singh’s practical examples and real-world applications served as catalysts for igniting the innovative spirit among attendees. However, the session inspired students, faculty members & industry professionals, and encouraged them to approach challenges with creativity, critical thinking & solution-oriented mindset.
At the beginning of the event, Dr Prabhakar Gupta, Principal CET welcomed the honorable guest in the presence of Dr Sovan Mohanty, Head of ECE Department.
