ECE & EN department of SRMSCET Bareilly jointly organized an online guest lecture on the topic “Microcontroller Based Design” on October 20th, 2022 for second and third year students of B. Tech (EC & EN).
The session was given a kick-start by MoC, Sumbul, Assistant Professor ECE, in the presence of Dr Anuj Kumar, Director at TD& P Cell, Dr Rajesh Tyagi, HOD at EN Department and Nazia Parveen, HOD at EC along with faculty members and students of EC & EN Department. During the guest lecture, Nazia Parveen elaborated the objectives of the session; whereas Dr Anuj Kumar motivated the students and appreciated such academia-industry connect to make the students industry ready.
KEYNOTE ADDRESS
The keynote speaker for the session was Mr Renjith CV, Product Designer at Philips India Limited, Pune. Having more than 19 years of experience in end-to-end electronics product/hardware design and development such as DSP, FPGA, ASIC and Microcontroller based digital and mixed signal hardware design, high speed board design with DDR2 memory, Gigabit Ethernet etc, he is known to have designed and architected multiple medical products for global markets such as X-Ray system, Clinical Chemistry Analyzer, Automotive Instrument cluster, etc. During the informative session, he discussed architecture and applications of various advanced processors and controllers such as ARM Cortex M3, A9, A15 etc, which was full of valuable information for the students. The session ended with vote of thanks extended by Sumbul.
