The Faculty of Management Science at Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering & Technology (SRMS CET), Bareilly recentlyorganized a Guest Lecture on ‘Insurance Sector- An Overview’, delivered by Keynote Speaker, Yogendra Singh, Associate Vice President, Learning & Development at SBI Life Insurance, who has earned a fellowship in Insurance from Insurance Institute of India (III). Targeted for first-year MBA students as part of their Orientation Programme, the session enlightened them about the insurance sector, how insurance works&the benefits of insurance.
During the interactive session, Yogendra Singh, who has been a part of the Learning & Development Department& responsible for training and development of employees& distributors for last 15 years, provided an overview of Insurance sector, its history, various kinds of insurance including Life & General Insurance. He discussed about modern life insurance industry, various life insurance solutions along with facts& figures. He discussed in-depth about career in SBI Life Insurance, financial security, wealth creation, potential of Indian insurance market, demographic dividend of India&care free retirement plans.
