The Department of ME, ECE & EN at Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering & Technology (SRMSCET), Bareilly in association with The Institution of Engineers (India), Bareilly Local Centre recently organized a 2-Day National Seminar on ‘Green Energy Technologies: Challenges & Solutions (GETCS-2023)’ along with Poster Presentation, targeting faculties, research scholars, industry personnels & UG/PG students. The motivational seminar provided insights on wide spectrum of Green Energy Technologies (GET) through expert sessions.
The Chief Guest was Dr DS Murthy, Professor-ME, GB Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar, whereas eminent Speakers were Dr Mohammad Rihan, Professor-EN, AMU Aligarh; Sudhir Gupta, Ex-Chairman, Institute of Engineers (India); Dr Sanjay Agarwal, Pro VC, Swami Vivekanand Technical University, Bhilai Chhattisgarh; Dr Tauseef Siddiqui, Assistant Professor-ME, MJPRU; Dr Shailendra Deva, Professor-ME, SRMSCET & Dr Rajesh Gangwar, Assistant Professor-EN, SRMSCET.
Shri Dev Murti, Chairman SRMS Trust welcomed the Chief Guest & speakers in the presence of Er Subhash Mehra, Trust Advisor; Dr Prabhakar Gupta, Dean Academics; Er Raj Goel, IEI, Chairman Bareilly Local Centre & Er Pradeep Madhwar Secretary IEI. The two-day event facilitated knowledge exchange, fostering collaboration & innovation in GET.
The ‘GETCS-2023’ concluded with Poster Presentation on themes—Renewable Energy Sources, Energy Efficiency & Conservation, Sustainable Energy Policy & Economics, Technological Innovations, Energy Storage Solutions, Green Transportation, Environment Impact & Conservation, Case Studies & Success Stories in Green Energy. Total 11 teams participated, wherein B Tech students Divyanshu Chauhan (ME 2021), Keshav Kumar & Disha Gangwar (EC 2022) & Saksham Aditya (ME 2020) secured 1st , 2nd & 3rd place with cash prize of ₹1000, ₹750 & ₹500 respectively.
