The Faculty of Management Science at Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering & Technology (SRMS CET), Bareilly recently organized an exclusive workshop on ‘Social Media Marketing’, featuring adiverse range of engaging activities & sessions. The event aimed to provide students with valuable & practical insights into effective social media marketing strategies.
The engaging workshop managed by Deepak Batra, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Management Science was thought fully structured into three distinct segments namely Photography Basics, Reel-making & Creative Photography, Social Media Post Creation & Management. The event began with an enlightening sessionby Dr Pankaj Agarwal, Associate Professor, Faculty of Management Science, who is himself a proficient photographer, where in he explained the fundamental elements of photography. He also introduced students about concepts of ISO, Aperture & Shutter Speed. Thereafter, Deepak Batra & Dr Pankaj Agarwal gave students a challenging yet entertaining task of creating reels & capturing photographs. This hands-on activity not only honed their photography skills, but also brought out their creativity & innovation.
This was followed by an informative session oncreating & managing social media pages, taken-up by Dr Saurabh Gupta, Professor, Faculty of Management Science, where in students learned about content design, using relevant hashtags & engaging the audience effectively. However, students were also given practical demonstration & case studies to understand the best practices in social media marketing.
However, the workshop bridged the gap between academic learning & industry demands, provided an enriching experience to participants & gave them a deeper understanding of social media marketing conceptsin today’s digital age. Dr Anuj Kumar, Director TDP Cell gave his invaluable guidance & support throughout the workshop.
