The Pharmquimica Club of Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering & Technology (SRMS CET) (Pharmacy), Bareilly recently commemorated PHARMA ANVESHAN 2024 on account of ‘National Pharmacy Education Day’ in remembrance of the 122nd birth anniversary of Professor Mahadeva Lal Schroff, the Father of Pharmacy Education in India.

Based on theme ‘Leveraging Synergism: Industry – Academia Partnership for Implementation of National Education Policy’, the event kicked-off with an insightful lecture on ‘National Education Policy 2020 & possible impact on pharmacy education’, delivered by Professor Dr Jitendra Singh Yadav, Chief Proctor & M Pharm Co-ordinator. An Oral & Poster presentationon topics like Pharmaceutical Technology & Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology & Toxicology, Role of NEP in Pharmaceutical Education etc provided a great platform to 22 students who participated for academic discussion & creative expression. An awareness rally comprising of 35 students also took place in village Abhaypur, which was flagged-off by Dr Pra bhakar Gupta, Principal CET in the presence of Dr Arti Gupta, Director Pharmacy & Dr Shailendra Deva, Vice Principal along with faculty members & students of Pharmacy department. A street play (nukkad-natak) was also showcased in Prahaladpur, engaging the community.

Towards the end, the winners from B Pharm Batch 2022 & 2020 were announced & given certificates & trophies. In Oral Presentation (adjudged by Dr Nita Yadav, Professor & Mansi Rastogi, Assistant Professor, Pharmacy Department), Arya Mishra & Munazzila clinched first & second prize respectively. In Poster Presentation (judged by Dr Manjoo Rani & Ritesh Kumar Tiwari, Assistant Professors, Pharmacy Department), Utkarshini Singh & Parul Gupta emerged victorious at first & second positions respectively.
