As a part of its Thursday activity, the Equinox Club at Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering & Technology (SRMS CET), Bareilly recently conducted an interactive club activity titled ‘Workshop on the Path of Coding’, specifically designed for freshmen. The event aimed to introduce students to the fundamentals of coding and guide them on navigating the competitive landscape of coding in today’s world.
The knowledge-driven workshop began with an introduction to the basics of coding that provided attendees with a comprehensive understanding of programming languages, algorithms & problem- solving approaches. Through enriching sessions, participants actively cultivated a solid foundation in coding concepts.
During the session, Karan Gautam, Chairperson of Equinox Club shared invaluable insights on achieving mastery in at least one programming language. He provided strategic guidance on kick starting placement preparation from the first year itself, and shared views on the domain students should focus in each year. Emphasizing the pivotal role of coding in contemporary scenarios, he underscored the importance of continuous learning & adapting to new technologies to excel in competitive coding domain. As the workshop concluded, participants were left not just with newfound enthusiasm for coding, but were also armed with a clear roadmap to navigate their coding skills.
