Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering & Technology (Pharmacy),Bareillyrecently organized an informative Guest Lecture on ‘Understanding the Landscaping of Regulatory Need for Herbal, Pharmaceutical Products, Neutraceutical & Ayurveda’ that was especially designed for B Pharm & M Pharm students.The Special Guest & Keynote Speaker was Dr Jai Kumar Mishra, a B Pharm Alumnus from Batch 2000,who is currently the Head of Regulatory Affairs (South Asia) Regulatory Affairs & Quality Services, BASF India Limited, New Delhi.
During the enriching session, Dr Jai Kumar Mishra urged students to embrace dynamism in the pharmaceutical industry, and also shared his SRMS journey. He encouraged students to strive for excellence and reach newer heights in pharmaceutical careers. The session was elevated the moment he shared his success story, wherein he imparted the seeds of knowledge with explained discussion on regulatory affairs, academic & industrial pharmacy, and the challenges to be faced. For students, it was quite in insightful session, wherein they gained knowledge on quality control, quality assurance, production, and research development.
The session was graced by Dr Arti Gupta, Director Pharmacy; Professor Dr Jitendra Singh Yadav, Chief Proctor; Dr Nita Yadav; Academic Coordinator; Dipali Gupta, Associate Professor & several faculty members, staff & students. Towards the end, Dr Arti Gupta presented a momento and certificate of appreciation to Dr Jai Kumar Mishra. The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dipali Gupta, followed by National Anthem.
