SRMS ENGINEERING COLLEGE HOSTS INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE WITH GLOBAL EXPERTS ON POST-PANDEMIC CHALLENGES & REGIONAL CONFLICTS!

SRMS College of Engineering & Technology (SRMS CET), Bareilly organized a two-day 4th INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE EICBI' 23, on ‘Emerging Challenges & Strategies in Post-Pandemic and Regional Conflicts Era’ on April 28-29, 2023, in association with National Taipei University of Business (NTUB), Taiwan; UN Global Compact Network (UNGCN), India & Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, which brought together experts from various fields to discuss the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on global economy, society & politics, as well as on various regional conflicts that have intensified in recent years. The Day-1 saw valuable addresses on the topic delivered by delegates, while the Day-2 had a Panel Discussion by the experts.

The conference began with welcome address by Dr Prabhakar Gupta, Dean Academics, SRMS CET, expressing gratitude towards the Chief Guests Shri Dev Murti, Chairman, SRMS Trust and Aditya Murti, Trust Secretary; Key Note Speaker, Professor Kun-Huang Huarng, Vice-President, Distinguished Professor, NTUB, Taiwan and Guest of Honor, Mr Ratnesh, Executive Director, UNGCN, India, for being a valuable part of this thought-provoking event.

The EICBI’23 conference was a resounding success, wherein Professor Dr DN Rao, Director Quality Assurance, SRMS CET & Conference Advisor threw light on conference’s theme, its three aspects—Planet, People & Process, as well as Digital Transformation, Metaverse and 5G services. Mr Ratnesh revealed the goals of UNGCNI in his speech & a video presentation & highlighted upon practicing sustainability on daily basis—something that he witnessed during his stay at SRMS CET campus. Later, Keynote Speaker, Professor Kun-Huang Huarng presented his views in his online address. Soon after, Aditya Murti spoke in length on post-pandemic challenges & strategies, education-gap due to pandemic, digital transformation, regional conflicts & changing environment, sustainable development, innovation & entrepreneurship, new policies & technological advancements post COVID-19, business strategies & opportunities and lot more.

The highlight of Day-1 conference was a signing of MOU between UNGCNI and SRMS Institutions under United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals, which is yet another milestone for SRMS Institutions. Later, E-Souvenirs were released by Shri Dev Murti.
