The MBA Department at Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering and Technology (SRMS CET) Bareilly conducted a LIVE UNION BUDGET-2023 session on February 01, 2023 at New Seminar Hall, SRMS CET that was headed by Deepak Batra, Assistant Professor, MBA Department.
The objective of the valuable event was to make the students aware on the key insights of Union Budget-2023, develop the critical thinking ability and develop the ability to analyze economic environment of business. The activity was divided into three sections, wherein, initially, students witnessed the budget live that developed the understanding to the budget and its crucial applications. Later, the students were divided into seven groups namely Peter F Drucker, Henry Fayol, Jagdish Seth, Adam Smith, Amritya Sen, CK Prahalad and JM Keynes. The students’ group were given 45 minutes for preparing the key points of the budget, on the basis of which, a rigorous discussion to analyze the budget took place, along with how it’s going to affect the common man of the nation.
The event was one-of-its-kind that helped student to apply knowledge of management theories and practices to solve business problems, foster analytical & critical thinking abilities for data-based decision making, and contributed effectively to a team environment.
