SRMS FINAL YEAR PHARMACY STUDENTS DIVE INTO EXEMPLARY MANUFACTURING PRACTICES IN A GUEST LECTURE!

With an aim to provide B Pharm Final year students a glimpse into the world of pharmaceutical manufacturing, the Training, Development & Placement Cell of SRMS College of Engineering & Technology (CET), Bareilly, in association with SRMS CET (Pharmacy) recently organized a Guest Lecture on the topic ‘Exemplary Manufacturing Practices, Processes, Documentation, Testing, Quality Control, and Assurance for Different Dosage Forms’, which was delivered by Special Guest & Key Note Speaker, Anil Kumar Shahi, MSc in Applied Chemistry, who’s currently working as GM Production at Jedux Parenteral Pvt. Ltd, Lucknow.

The enlightening session began with welcoming of guest with plant saplings by Dr Prabhakar Gupta, Dean Academics and Dr Arti Gupta, Director Pharmacy in the presence of Professor Anuj Kumar, Director TDP Cell; Dr Jitendra Singh Yadav, Chief Proctor & Professor, CET (Pharmacy) & other dignitaries. During the lecture, Anil Kumar Shahi, who is known to have 33 years of vast experience across major pharmaceutical companies, illuminated the intricacies of manufacturing practices, including processes, documentation, testing & quality control for various dosage forms. He also addressed queries of the students & engaged them in stimulating discussions. A brief introduction of the students was also taken by the speaker.

Later, Dr Anuj Kumar expressed his gratitude to Anil Kumar Shahi for his invaluable contribution and wished for similar collaboration in future as well.
