The MBA Department at SRMS CET, Bareilly organized a ‘Value Based Seminar’ on the topic
‘Russia & Ukraine War: It’s Socio-Economic Impact on Asian Counterparts’ on October 21 st , 2022,
which was managed by Dr Shobhit Kumar, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Management Science at
SRMS CET, as well as the activity in-charge.
The prime objective of this activity was to promote value-based education with an aim to train the
students to face the outer world with the right attitude and values. Sharing an insight about it, Dr Shobhit
said, “It is a process of overall development of a student, which includes character development,
personality development and spiritual development. The value based seminar brought out several aspects
of Russia and Ukraine War, which was an eye opener to a great extent.”
However, the topics covered in the activity included the brief introduction of Russia and Ukraine based
on their origin, existence and political domain. Later on, the seminar included variety of topics of
discussion like major reasons of the war, the point of conflict, socio-economic factor, its impact on
education, status of Indians who are among the big lot of foreign students in Ukraine, future of students as
a whole, and the impact of war on Asian countries.
